1. How long will it take to get my signs?
We make magnetic signs within 24 hours of receiving an order on Monday through Thursday. Since we are closed for the weekend, if you place an order after 10:00 A.M. central time on Friday, or anytime Saturday or Sunday, your signs will be finished by Monday. Your signs will be shipped out within 24 hours of completion, so they usually arrive within a week; please check with UPS for estimated delivery times from zip code 78218.
2. How many signs can I order?
Order as many as you need. You can order just one sign for your car, or you can order 50 or more for your fleet. If you would like to order a quantity that's not listed on our website, please contact us for pricing and so we can tell you how soon you'll have your signs.
3. Will your signs stick to my vehicle?
Our signs stick to most vehicles, but you should check by testing your door with a refrigerator magnet. Magnetic signs simply won't stick to surfaces with very little steel content. The most common non-magnetic surfaces are tailgates (which are often made of fiberglass) and semi tractor doors (which are sometimes aluminum).
4. Is there a "right way" to apply magnetic signs?
Yes. First, find a semi-flat surface to put them on. Never put magnetic signs on top of car trim; the trim isn't magnetic, and it will create an air pocket so your signs will blow off the vehicle. Once you've found a good place for them, clean the vehicle and the magnetics with a little bit of soap and water. Let them dry, or towel-dry both the vehicle and the magnetics. Finally, when you put the sign on, make sure there are no air bubbles underneath. If you need to adjust the placement, take the sign off completely -- if you try to pull it into place, it may stretch.
5. How do I care for my magnetic signs?
Magnetic signs are meant to be used temporarily, not as permanent signs. Take them off one or two days every week. Before you put the signs back on, give the door or tailgate a good rinse-off with Windex or soap and water, and also wash off the back of your magnetics. While the signs are not on your vehicle, make sure to keep them flat; don't bend or roll them up. Try putting them on a shelf or even on the side of your refrigerator.
6. What are your signs made of?
The magnetic sheeting itself is 30mil, vinyl-coated magnetic material. The graphics on the signs are made of standard 5-year outdoor vinyl which is cut on a plotter and applied directly to the magnetic sheeting.
7. Do you have a privacy policy?
Our policy is this: We will never sell or release your personal information to any third party. We only use the information we collect from you to design your signs, bill you, and ship your order.
